Is Traffic Hoopla Biased?

Filed under: Industry News — DA @ 1:00 pm

It has always been my opinion that the ranking sytem of Traffic Hoopla was merely a front for them to create huge downlines in traffic exchanges. It is beginning to come to light that other traffic exchange owners have the same opinion. Just recently Tim Linden of StartXchange posted an article in his blog about Traffic Hoopla… So whats your take?

WBS Cash Credit Rotator

Filed under: General — DA @ 11:06 pm
No Gravatar

The Cash Credit Rotator is a cool new feature that Dan and I have incorporated into WBS. Members can assign cash credits to a site in the rotator. The rotator is advertised on other sites throughout the internet. When the members site is shown, it deducts one credits from the assigned credits and adds a hit to their statistics.

Cash Credits can be bought from our advertisers page, they can be given as a bonus for being an Upgraded Member, or they can be earned by surfing our exchange and converting those credits to cash credits. To convert your earned credits, just click on the link… Convert Free Credits to Cash Credits in your members area. Then click Your Cash Credit Sites
Add A Site Add Credits
to assign them to your sites. Free members are allowed to add 1 site to the rotator and upgraded members can add an unlimited number of sites. In less than a month the rotator has displayed more than 25,000 sites! You can also use your cash credits in our Cash Credit Store to buy advertising, access to membership sites, and purchase eBooks and software. All in all its another great way WBS gives you the opportunity to create success on the internet.

Surf 100 promotion!

Filed under: General — DA @ 8:59 am
No Gravatar

If your like us, we belong to several traffic exchanges. There seems to be some confusion and violent disorder amongst some of them. I think the latest promotion from Paul Kinder is a great idea, but does the name suggests what it is?

may·hem (mhm, mm) n. 1. Law The offense of willfully maiming or crippling a person.2. Infliction of violent injury on a person or thing; wanton destruction: children committing mayhem in the flower beds.3. A state of violent disorder or riotous confusion; havoc.
——————————————————————————–
[Middle English maim, mayhem, from Anglo-Norman maihem, from Old French mahaigne, injury, from mahaignier, to maim, from Vulgar Latin *mahanre, probably of Germanic origin.]

http://sb.thefreedictionary.com/mayhem

Now I don’t know about you, but I think the name could have been something different. Not quite what I would picture as a great way to bring traffic to my site or program, but I do think the idea is great, so we decided to do something similar, but with a little more than organized chaos… Surf 100 pages at WBS and join at least 1 program that you see while surfing. After all, that is why you advertise in a traffic exchange, isn’t it? Our goal is not to get you to just surf to earn a spot in the drawing, but to bring more awareness to the advertisers sites. We will also be randomly giving marquee bonus’s during this time…

Make a post at the forum ( http://www.web-biz-solutions.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1210858195/0#0 ), and we will verify the information and add you to our own drawing. The contest will be from the time you receive this email, until Sunday May 25th at midnight est. Each day you surf 100 sites entitles you to a ticket in the drawing. All posts for ticket requests must be posted at the forum by Monday May 26th at midnight. The drawing will take place on Wednesday May 28th and winners will be notified.

Up for grabs…

Tim Linden from StartXchange has created a cool search engine of traffic exchange sites, blogs, forums and information. Its a great feature to his blog and will help you in aquiring information and news on the traffic exchange industry.

Did you know WBS has a search engine? Yep, its a powerful enginge that parses the meta tags from submitted sites. It will also parse all the links on the submitted url… as a member of WBS you can submit your own sites and programs. The link is in your members area… do a search now…

Where Do They Come From?

Filed under: Industry News — DA @ 10:09 am
No Gravatar

Do you track the hits on sites you rotate in traffic exchanges? Its suprising the number of sites that I see, that just utilize a generic referral link. How can you possibly know the results you are getting?

Did you know you can track every lik you use to promote WBS? Did you know that you earn 1 credit for every unique display of yur referral link? Did you know you earn 25% of the credits your downline earns?

To utilize the WBS tracking system, simply add &track=YourCampaignName on to the end of any referral page you use. This hit, and any potential signups from this campaign will show in your members area. To see how well your advertising campaigns are doing, from your members page click Campaign Stats to see the number of hits you received, the number of signups and the percentage. I have 73 different programs that I have tracked using my referral url. You’d be surprised where the most signups have come from… You can also click Promotion Stats in your members area for more detail. This will tell you the exact url you used (home, splash, etc.), the username and the ID of the signup you received, and the program you were advertising in to get the signup. Be sure to utilze it, as it is a great way to see where your signups are coming from, and which pages of the exchange are working the best to get signups.

The chart in the middle of the page in your members area, gives up to the secomd stats of the number of hits to your referral page and if it was unique. If it was, the system adds 1 credit to your account. Unique urls reset at the first of every month. One other note about your referrals… if you click Downline Report, this will give you specific details about your downline members. When they joined, last time they logged in, how many credits you have earned from their surfing efforts, and more. You can contact your downline and encourage them to surf, send them credits from your account to encourage more activity, invite them to view the Ultimate Traffic Directory (if you have filled in your URL’s they will join under you!), and more. Communication is the key to success, and if your downlines in WBS know you are interested in their well being, they are more apt to be more active…

Don’t forget to add credits to your CC Rotator site. If you are running low, you can convert some free credits, or you can purchase cash credits at great price from the advertise page.

Happy Surfing (Marquee Bonus’s continue… will you win? Gotta Surf, To Win!)

Hi All,

We finally have a home page up at My Modern Ad We put up what we call an AdBlog. Its an interesting concept where the members make the posts. We encourage advertising! There is an affiliate program attached to the program, with an upgrade option available. You earn a monthly commission from all upgrades in your downline.

Upgraded members have the ability to post to the blog everyday, upload unlimited banners to the sites banner rotator, and utilize a WYSIWYG editor to post their ads with all the ‘bells and whistles’.

We have added several ‘widgets’ to the site bar to help increase exposure,  track visitors and clicks and more. We will also soon be adding an RSS Feed to help broadcast your blog ads throughout the internet.

Do You Take Advantage of What The Internet Has To Offer?

Filed under: General — DA @ 9:40 pm
No Gravatar

It bewilders me sometimes when I see hungry internet marketers not utilizing the tools they have to grow their internet business. As a creator of online advertising, we frequently add new sites and programs for our members to use. Yet, most will visit and not take a second look. Take for instance blogs. Do you try to make a comment on every blog you visit? Do you realize its free advertising when you do? I mean, you have to read the blog post first and make your comment on what is written… but most blogs allow you to link back to you or your program in your comment… We just recently put up a new site at My Modern Ad where the members make the blog post. We encourage members to advertise. Its a free service, and we have had 1000’s of visitors, yet only a handful of members join. We offer a paid upgrade in the program, and some have taken advantage, but they have not made a post, or do so sporadically. Its one thing to join something for free and not utilize it, but to pay to use it and not…. I don’t know. It’s no wonder, I guess why many are not making the money they desire working on the internet.

I take every opportunity I see to advertise our sites and programs. We have links in 1oo’s, if not 1000’s of different places… and always looking for more. Don’t be afraid to use the tools that are in front of you everyday. If you are on our mailing list and in one of our programs, don’t hesitate to use what we offer… thats why we put it into place. Afterall, I want you to succeed! If you succeed, than you will tell others and we will succeed!

Just my rant for the month
