Right off the bat, I want to congratulate Scott Gellenthin for winning November’s top prize of $25. Scott has been a WBS member for several years, and has always remained an active member. Scott was randomly picked from all surfers that peaked in the Top 30 Surfers Marquee in the last couple weeks.

The month of December, I will be giving away a complete affiliate control center site! The winner will choose their own domain, which I will host free of charge for 1 year. I have developed and launched a new site with J.O.E. Most of you know him as a long time member of WBS. He is a great person to work with and he has spent alot of time helping to launch this new site. It is in a “prelaunch” mode right now, so if you want to get in, you will have to contact a Pro Member of WBS. They are the only ones thus far that have been given access. You will more than likely see it on the marquee, or while surfing at some local exchanges. I will be promoting it soon to the WBS members via the Ultimate Traffic Directory. So keep an eye there… if you haven’t been in awhile, I have added a few programs recently. Waters Edge Traffic mezmerizes me evertime I visit! The graphics are soothing and I have actually done a little urfing there (kinda rare for me… I usually buy credits!). You can join or add your referral url at The Ultimate Traffic Directory. The link is in your members area. I have also added a traffic co-op that is producing several signups a day to WBS. If your a pro member, you may have noticed a referral recently. The co-op is one reason, the other is I have changed the script some, so random referrals are truly random! You can refresh the admin referral page (1) and see a new pro member each time! Also, as I said the new program will be there soon also.

Yep, at some point between now and Sunday 11/23 I will be randomly selecting a member from the marquee and send them $25! Make sure that you have your PayPal address updated in your profile. In order to qualify… all you need to do is surf! I will also be giving other prizes throughout the time period including a solo login ad, My Modern Text Ads and My Modern Banner impressions.

Make sure you have your marquee link in place. If you are in the top 30, your link is shown world wide as it appears on just about every WBS page including splash pages! Be creative with your link ad so as to encourage people to click your link. The higher up you are on the marquee, the better chance of your link being clicked…

WBS is no where near what it should be in the ranking at Affiliate Funnel! I figure it should be in the top 30 of all traffic exchanges! Welcome to the new and improved WBS Blog.

Decided I would roll out a new theme to go along with todays news! 

First, I want to thank you for being a member and making the journey to read the blog. If your not a member, and just stumbled across… I invite you to check out our traffic exchange. I have been promising for weeks now to get the next video tutorial up and I will do so by the end of the weekend. Since I gave out so many Cash Credits last week, I will take the opportunity to explain what they are, how you can earn them on a regular basis, and what you can do with them once you have them… The first tutorial is at the Help Desk, and some of you need to watch it. I see several members with credits, but none assigned to their sites.

I am also in need of Advertisers Links and have several specials for them throughout the site. These links are found on just about every page of the WBS Traffic Exchange, including the members area bring you thousands of exposures everyday!

I created another splash page for you to use and put it in the members area. I also created one that is being hosted on another site! Huh? Honest… I was talking with Steve Ayling the other day, and he introduced me to a cool program of his. Its called Splash Page Maker, and it is an online tool used to create splash pages. Whats really neat is he hosts them for you! Now, I’m sure you know how important it is to utilize splash pages, and with this program you can create professional looking splashes in minutes. No loss if you don’t, a great potential if you do… remember, no resource is good if you don’t utilize it once you have it.
