I’m sorry, but I have to step on some toes this morning. It has been quite aggravating lately as fellow marketers are on a heavy promotion rampage for new programs that have come out. Now don’t get me wrong, I understand you want to inform your readers and members of the latest greatest new traffic gadget to come out, but do you think we could be a little more creative about it.

I was at one of my members blogs earlier today, and she made the comment about being emailed by so many different marketers about the same product. That doesn’t bother me as much as getting the SAME email from so many different marketers. Are we in so much of a hurry to inform our readers and members, or are we just too damn greedy to take an extra 5 minutes to make our email unique!

Most all membership sites these days provide email templates that members can copy and paste. It becomes very obvious on an initial launch when there are JV partners involved that we take those email templates literally and use them expecting signups because because of who we are… and we wonder why our emails are not as effective as they once used to be! DUH!!

Use what the program owner has put into place and build on it. Make it personal, at least change the title… SOMETHING! Content is everything in today’s internet market, and if you want to succeed or continue to succeed then you had better stand out as being different from the rest, not just in your site’s content but your emails as well.
